Information for referrers

All referrals that meet Medicare requirements will be bulk billed.

(GP referred echocardiograms must either be initial test, or outside of 2 years since previous echo (unless pericardial effusion progress , cardiotoxic medication etc - contact us for clarification)

We aim to make booking as simple as possible. Here are the options-

• Online - bookings can be made simply online by doctors, clinic staff or patients.  

• Email - email a referral to us and we'll contact the patient

• Phone - call us to arrange an appointment

All tests will be formally reported by our team of imaging expert Cardiologists. The Cardiologist have recent experience and great interest in the Northern Territory and remote cardiology. The lines of communication between the reporting Cardiologist and referring doctor will be open - please contact us as needed.

We are very conscious of not contributing to fragmented patient care. Patient reports and images will be available as needed (following patient privacy priciples)

We aim to take cardiac testing to the most convenient locations for patients and referrers. Please contact us if you think we can offer our services in your premises or health care service.

We are passionate about teaching (particularly echo!). We are keen to offer education in any form - lunchtime meetings, one-on-one teaching or any other forms of education. Let us know what works for your clinic.
